Mault / Discord Integration
Bring your card sorter into Discord
Mault's Discord bot posts a message for every card as it's sorted, alerts your server when something goes wrong, and answers /stats on demand, so you don't have to keep the monitor page open to know what's happening.
The bot runs as its own process (packages/bot) alongside the rest of Mault. See the README for the env vars it needs if you're self-hosting.
01 / Setup
Link a server in under a minute
Connecting Discord doesn't touch your hardware or scanning setup. It's a few steps in the app and in Discord.
01.01
Add the bot
Add the Mault bot to your Discord server. Requires the Manage Server permission.
Add to Discord →01.02
Generate a code
In Mault, open Settings > Discord and generate a link code. It's only valid for a few minutes.
01.03
Run /link
In your Discord server, run /link <code> with the code from Settings > Discord. Requires the Manage Server permission.
01.04
Pick your channels
Back in Settings > Discord, choose where scans and alerts get posted, per collection if you like, and add rules for which cards go where.
02 / Commands
Commands
Link a server and your own account, then check stats or show off your collection. Everything else is set up in the app.
05 / Commands
/link <code>Link this Discord server to a Mault organization.
/stats [collection]Show this organization's collection stats, optionally limited to one collection.
/link-account <code>Link your Discord account to your Mault account, using the code from Account > Discord account.
/showoffPost your collection's total value and your most valuable card. Needs a linked account.
/leaderboardShow the organizations that have scanned the most cards with Mault, the same list as the leaderboard in Stats.
03 / Features
What gets posted
Once a server is linked, the bot keeps it updated automatically. No polling, no refreshing a dashboard.
Card-scan notifications
Every card sorted posts an embed with its name, price (and foil price), collection, game, the captured scan photo, and a link straight to the live monitor.
Error & status alerts
Sorter jams, feeder issues, and other errors post separately so they don't get lost in the scan feed.
On-demand stats
/stats replies with card count and estimated value for the whole org or a single collection, right in Discord.
Live presence
The bot's status cycles through the games your Mault instance supports, so it's obviously online and connected.
